The colors in Dichroic glass are
determined by the length of light waves passing through
the glass. Wave lengths, and the colors, change
depending on the coating formula used and number
of layers required to make each Dichroic color. Making
a Premium color takes almost twice the number of
coating layers as a Standard Color. The first
color listed describes the Transmitted color, the
second describes the Reflected color. These samples,
except for Rainbow are shown after fusing, and
are on black glass. The Rainbow pictured is a "Target
Rainbow" meaning that the colors change from the
center outward to the edge of the glass. This Rainbow effect
is possible only on a full sheet of glass.
